I got home from work at 3am and found that my house had no power. I called The Local Electrician and spoke to one of the guys named Chris. He came out within half an hour. He diagnosed and sorted the problem with my switch board. The price was affordable and the service was fast and efficient. We had no power. It was getting dark. After hours. Even the mains power was off. Thank goodness for The Local Electrician and their 24 hr emergency service. John and his off sider came and working by torch light gave us power to 2 rooms. They came back, in daylight, to find the cause. After that they checked all the power points and cords. They did a thorough job and put everything back in place and plugged everything back in. I was very impressed by them. They are hard working, friendly, and happy to answer questions. I asked for the fish ponds to get power first and they did. Great electricians and great person on the end of the phone.

The issue was a rather complicated and urgent but Nicholas arrived at my house on Saturday morning within an hour after my call. He carried out a very thorough check and provided me with a clear quote and work description as well as a timeframe. The following Monday, 3 boys arrived on time at 7am to start the installation. Nicholas briefed Mark, Sam and Jimmy. I could not recommend more highly! My elderly Mum lives alone in the Sutherland Shire on a clifftop. Twice this year she has had major problems with her overhead electrical cable, resulting in total power loss. On both occasions, Chris and the team immediately leapt into action, reassuring my overwhelmed Mum that she'd be top priority, re-prioritising their workload and quickly arranging the hire of specialised staff and equipment.They use layman's terms to explain the issues and costs and ensure power restoration ASAP. My Mum's previous electrician told her the jobs were too big for him, and it'd take him a week to arrange staff and equipment. Needless to say, these guys are now our go-to for anything electrical.They are experts with a personal, caring touch. What more could you want?!

I recently contacted 'The Local Electrician' in regards to some issues I have been having with my lights for several months now. I have contracted four different electricians to investigate the cause of my lights tripping and I was still having issues after spending $1000's. Paddy Brandtman was on time which none of the other companies had been. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and explained it to me in a way I could understand. He then proceeded to fix the issues and was done in just under an hour. He cleaned the area thoroughly and left in a better state than what it was before he arrived. Spectacular work by Chris today! Had a brand fall down on my mother's power lines and ausgrid issued us a defect notice requiring a level 2 electrician. Chris was out within an hour of my phone call and repaired the damages caused immediately. Splendid work!

My wife was in urgent need of an electrician as we have a 6 month old son and lost all power to the house. She phone multiple electricians who were charging an arm and a leg as their call out fee. She finally got in contact with Helen from the local electrician who organised a technician out within the hour for a fair and reasonable price. We had our power fixed and I had a happy wife and son! Helen from the local electrician organised an emergency electrician to help us restore our power. Not only was I shocked when they attended to my call at 10pm but I was extremely impressed that they managed to upgrade my switchboard and restore my power at such a late time.
